The challenge
SOHO Floripa, in the Coqueiros district of Florianópolis, is an innovation hub with 34 rooms, an auditorium, and shared areas that host more than 300 professionals every day.
The brief called for 1 Gbps dedicated per room, unified Wi-Fi, and individual access control with 24×7 operation — all while preserving security and cost predictability.
The solution
We designed a dedicated fiber-optic architecture driven by multi-link edge routers, delivering high-performance connectivity to every space:
- Dedicated fiber optics linking all 34 rooms to a core fed by four carriers totaling 4+ Gbps.
- Centralized Wi-Fi with custom policies per resident company and unified authentication.
- Per-room segmentation and security, with network isolation, access control, and automatic failover.
- 24×7 remote monitoring with dashboards, proactive alerts, and a drastic drop in support tickets.
The entire equipment estate was provided under a comodato (free-lease) arrangement, cutting CAPEX and OPEX and ensuring continuous evolution without downtime for interventions.
